Welcome to the wonderful world of Bare Foot Bowls.

It’s easy and fun to play and no previous experience is necessary. Basically, if you can pick up a lawn bowl and roll it along the grass you can play.

The Main Green at RBC is undergoing annual maintenance and will not be available for use between 21 October 2019 and February 2020.

The small green will be for the exclusive use as follows:-

  • Ladies Bowls      Tuesday               9:30 to 12:00pm
  • Mixed Bowls      Wednesday        1:00 to 4:00pm
  • Mixed Bowls      Saturday              1:00 to 4:00pm

BAREFOOT BOWLS

Barefoot Bowls is available to be booked at any other time (apart from the above) after the 21 October.

Barefoot Bowling fees – 2 hours

  • $15 per person
  • $120 for one lane
  • $500 for the whole green

A group of 20 barefoot bowlers each paying $15 can have free room hire.

Exclusive use of the BBQ area indoor or outdoor is $250 which includes the use of the BBQ

Bare Foot Bowls is a great way to entertain corporate clients, develop team building skills with employees, celebrate birthdays and special anniversaries – it’s just fun without all the baggage that goes with other sports.

It’s a team game – with each team having the same number of players.

For those who haven’t played before there is no need to worry as the Bowlo will have someone on hand to get you on your way.

If you enjoy Bare Foot Bowls just imagine how much more you would enjoy playing competitive bowls – we are always on the lookout for new bowling members for both the Men’s and Women’s clubs.

BARE FOOT BOWLS may not be the fastest growing sport of the day – nor the most physically demanding – but one thing we know for sure – it sure is great to play whilst enjoying an ice cold bevy or two – mmmm now that sounds good !
